"Reach4Children" Annual Campaign. Thank you everyone who donated this holiday season to our Reach4Children campaign.
Your tax-deductible donation will be put to work to help children and families in four key areas:1. Children'sTherapies - Give a child the gift of speech or other needed therapies to reduce the waitlist of children needing speech, occupational and physiotherapy. Help children receive therapy early, when it is most critical to their development. 2. Specialized Book and Toy Lendng Libraries- Accessing up-to-date information about child development, special needs and teaching approaches is essential for families in supporting their child. Send a donation to help fund our specialized libraries. 3. Emergency Family Support - Raising children with special needs places added expenses on families. Help families through emergency times with a donation that will help provide respite care, groceries, formula, medical equipment and other essential items to allow families to maintain focus on supporting their child. 4. Capital Campaign - Reach is entering into a partnership with the Ladner Kinsmens for the redevelopment of the Kin House to provide a shared community space for Reach, the Kinsmen Club and the community in the social heart of Ladner. Reach must raise $3 million dollars in the next 3 years for the redevelopment. Put your donation to work to help us build this community facility. Read about it here. Donor wall legacy...
Our donor wall is our way of recognizing all of the individuals, businesses and government agencies that support us in keeping our programs and services alive.
Four colours of leaves on our donor wall tree recognize giving levels:
Gold ($5,000 +)
Silver ($2,500 +)
Ruby ($1,500 +)
Green ($500 +)
When you donate to Reach under one of these giving levels your name or business name will be permanently etched onto a leaf recognizing you or your organization's generous contribution. Our donor wall is on permanent display in the main entrance of our Ladner facility and stands as a symbol of the legacy donors have left in the lives of children with special needs and their families. Thank you all for giving so generously and for believing in potential!____________________________________________

Gord Lockhart, President, Richmond/South Delta/Gulf Islands Division of the
Reach would like to extend our sypathy to the family of Robert O'Keefe, who passed away on February 14th, 2010. Robert and his wife Sandra, (seen in the photo to the left), established the Robert and Sandra O'Keefe Endowment Fund with the Delta Community Foundation. This fund made several donations to Reach's Counselling and Mental heath program, making it possible for many families and children to get the support they need to cope and improve their quality of life. We at Reach will fondly remember Robert for his generosity, his committment to his community, and his friendship. We will miss Robert and are sincerely grateful for all he has contributed.
