  • The nothing about us without us Petition to Premier Gordon Campbell. In signing this petition I ask that you repeal Bill 20, section 15, part 6, passed in the legislature on November 18. This section of the bill removes the legislated requirement in the Community Living Authority Act that people with developmental disabilities and their family members are represented on the Board of Directors of Community Living BC (CLBC), the Crown Agency that administers supports and services to people with developmental disabilities.
  • Little League BC Challenger Division baseball for kids with special needs
  • Horse Riding: there is another riding stable in Delta.  PPTRA  - Pony Pals Theraputic Riding Assoc.  6003 104th Street, Delta  604-590-0097.

  • New Reach ABA program...Due to changes to services for children and youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families, the Reach Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention (EIBI) Program has been adapted. See Reach ABA Program page

  • The Citizen - Connecting People with Their Community: Current Edition
  • CLBC Service Satisfaction Survey . CLBC is currently conducting its fourth annual Service Satisfaction Survey. The phone survey is being conducted by an independent surveyor, the Mustel Group. Self-advocates and family members will be randomly interviewed. No names or personal information will be shared with CLBC. The surveyor provides a roll-up of the combined responses to the survey questions. This survey provides an opportunity for individuals and families to confidentially express their feelings about CLBC's services and supports. CLBC uses the information to address concerns and to ensure continuous improvement. If you have any concerns or questions about the survey, please contact Paula Grant, Director of Quality Assurance, at 604-664-0106.

  • Inclusive Education Awards - Nomination Deadline . To highlight National Inclusive Education Week and to bring attention to the many positive examples of inclusive classrooms across the country, the Canadian Association for Community Living has created a national certificate of recognition to be given to those who have made positive contributions to inclusive education in their province or territory.
