Individualized Funding (IF) Program Print E-mail

As an option to contracting with agencies, the B.C. government is providing funding directly to families to purchase the services they require for their children with special needs.

Currently for families with children on the autism spectrum, funding includes $20,000 per year for children up to six years of age, and $6,000 for children ages 6 to 18

To meet the needs of families that are choosing this option, Reach Child and Youth Development now offers a number of programs that can be accessed through individualized funding:

Programs that are currently available under the individualized funding option are:

The Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention Program (EIBI)

and

The Kids Friendship Club.

Families on the EIBI program wait-list can use their autism funding to access EIBI's IF program.
