REACH Early Learning Centre – North Delta

About Reach Early Learning Centre - North Delta Preschool

Reach Developmental Preschool  offers all children a stimulating, emergent program to develop their physical, social, emotional, language, and cognitive skills to their full potential. In November 2025, REACH celebrated opening the new and expanded NDRC Inclusive Playground available to our preschool children everyday with a massive play area. REACH Early Learning Centre North Delta also offers a preschool curriculum that is based on the British Columbia Early Learning Framework.

Reach's Child Development Preschool aims are to:

Provide learning experiences that encourage each child to reach their potential.

Provide parent education through meetings, workshops, and participation in the preschool program. Four hour preschool day is available.

Provide ongoing communication with parents regarding their child’s progress
to recommend appropriate placement for the child when required

Develop the child’s ability to interact knowledgeably and comfortably with all their peers.

Your child will make friends, learn to share, play in the water, the sand and the rice. They will sing and be actors, cook and clean, build and create and climb and explore. Through these activities, their self-esteem will soar.

Exceptional Early Learning Program

Guided by the researched-based  BC  Early Learning  Framework,  environments are designed to enrich all areas of children’s learning following the child’s interests.  Our program is a centre for excellence delivering other evidence-based approaches that supports the whole child, including Attachment theory and social emotional learning curriculum, among others.

We focus on:

  • Early language and communication skills
  • Social-emotional development
  • Creative expression and imagination
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking

Every day is intentionally designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and create joyful learning experiences.

Nature Based Advantage

A standout feature of our program is our nature-based outdoor environment.

Children benefit from:

  • 3 hours of daily outdoor exploration and play
  • Development of physical strength and coordination
  • Increased curiosity and lifelong passion for learning
  • Improved emotional regulation and focus
  • A deeper connection to the natural world

This balanced approach supports healthier, happier children—both physically and emotionally.

Caring and Experienced Educators

Our dedicated team includes:

  • highly qualified Early Childhood Educators (ECEs)

Families can feel confident knowing their children’s experiences and development are enriched by on-site professionals with expertise:

  • Experience, patience, and genuine care
  • Strong knowledge of child development
  • Engaging, thoughtfully planned programming
  • Speech and language, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and positive behaviour support

We create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to grow.

A True Family Partnership

At REACH, families are not just included—they are essential. We partner with families. You know your child best. We work together with you through daily communication, support and resources for home, and a caring, open partnership with our staff.

We prioritize:

  • Feedback and, open, ongoing communication
  • Respect for each family’s voice and experience
  • Meaningful opportunities for involvement
  • Effective resolution of challenges that may arise

Our goal is to build strong, trusting relationships that support both children and their families.
