What is REACH Young Adult Group
A supportive social group for young adults with developmental disabilities.
Our Young Adults Group is a welcoming and relaxed space for young people (ages 19–25) who are looking to build friendships, strengthen social skills, and feel more connected to their community. We meet the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 1:00-3:00 at REACH head office, 5050 47th Ave., Ladner, with additional optional evening meet-ups and community events throughout the year.
Service Description:
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Build meaningful social connections
- Practice and strengthen social and communication skills
- Access and explore the community with support
- Learn practical life skills such as budgeting, taking public transit, and developing self-help skills
- Work toward personal developmental goals
- Have fun, meet peers, and connect in a supportive environment

Eligibility:
This group is open to young adults aged 19–25 with developmental disabilities.
Self-referrals are welcome, and referrals from service providers are also accepted.
