Facilitated by REACH Family Navigators Pindi Mann and Priya Nair. The New Autism Diagnosis Orientation is for parents and caregivers of children and youth recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The first few months after receiving a diagnosis for their child may be confusing and overwhelming for parents/caregivers. The New Autism Diagnosis Orientation provides information and support so that no family is left on their own to start this journey.
The New Autism Diagnosis Orientation is designed to help families:
Orientation sessions are approximately 2 hours in length. Sessions will be run in both English and Punjabi on different days. The sessions are in a small group format to allow parents to ask questions
