Fortis Bc Donates $10,000 To Reach At Chamber After 5 Event

Delta Chamber of Commerce After 5 Business Socials are informal networking opportunities for local businesses and organizations. This month’s event, hosted by the Beach Grove Golf Club, gave members the opportunity to witness Fortis BC’s commitment to the well being of communities first hand. Fortis BC presented local non-profit Reach Child and Youth Development Society with a generous $10,000 contribution towards its Building for Children Together project.

FortisBC funds initiatives that support stronger and healthier communities. Reach Society’s project will see a new child development center constructed to support children with special needs and their families in an easily accessible location on municipally donated land.

“We’re proud to be supporting Reach Society’s efforts to make programs, services, resources and support more accessible”, said Viviana Zanocco, Community and Aboriginal Relations Manager. “This contribution builds on a long history of FortisBC – and our employees – giving back to the communities where we live and work.”
