F-Words Training

The BC Association for Child Development and Intervention is offering F-words training at Reach Head Office, 5050 47 Ave, Ladner, on November 21 & 22, 2023, 9:30-3:30 . You can attend one day or both by registering on Eventbrite. Choose the parent/caregiver free option. Speakers Kim Hesketh, Lynda Moore, Rachel Teplicky and Vanessa Tomas will present in person. Day 1 offers a F-words foundation where you will:

• Learn about the F-words
• Hear parent perspectives on what the F-words mean to their family
• Explore tools for using the
• F-words in life and practice
• Hear examples of how organizations have embraced this approach
• Discuss how the F-words can support visioning, goalsetting and working together as a team

Day 2 covers implementing F-words in your community:

• Learn about Implementation Science and Practice
• Explore a tool for developing implementation strategies
• Begin exploring barriers and facilitators to using the F-words in your organization
• Set the first step in your implementation plan
