Giving Tuesday was November 28, 2023 and it is a global movement that “reimagines a world built on shared humanity and generosity” (givingtuesday.org). Envision Financial joined the movement and helped raise awareness and funds to support speech therapy for local children with diverse needs at Reach Child and Youth Development Society. REACH Volunteer Board Directors Sharon Schoeffel and Lisa Margetson were on site at Ladner Envision on Giving Tuesday with REACH Fundraising Coordinator Tamara Veitch. $485 was donated by generous credit union’s members. In addition, the branch itself donated $3500 to the non-profit’s Gift of Speech Appeal.
