Ladner Village Market Donates $4000 To Reach

DELTA, BC (November 5, 2015) – The Ladner Village Market presented Reach Child and Youth Development Society with a $4000 cheque today. This generous donation to the Reach “Building for Children Together” campaign was contributed by the market managers of the Ladner Village Market.

The Ladner Village Market will be 20 years old in 2016. Emphasis on “Make it, Bake it, Grow it” has made the market one of the largest in western Canada and it featured 160 artisan vendors each market day this year. The Ladner Village Market managers, Bill and Tracey McKnight, Jan Salvador, Jill McKnight and Stephen Smith, presented the cheque to Reach at Kinsmen House in Ladner, the building site of Reach’s new development centre. Barbara Wallick, chair of Reach Foundation commented, “We are deeply moved by the local community support that this cheque represents.”
